So the guys met on their train to school...Andy and Bradie are step brothers by the way.


They formed the band Short Stack so they could enter the 2005 competition Youth Rock for new bands. That year they didn't pass the first round, but the next year came 3rd in the State.


In 2007 they began filming Short Stack TV (SSTV) , a reality television program broadcast on YouTube so that they could become closer to their fans.


Sway Sway Baby was their first single put on YouTube, and the clip was filmed on Bradie's camera phone. The clip received 5000 views on its debut, and was the highest viewed video for the day.

After their 2nd video, Drop Dead Gorgeous was broadcast on YouTube, MTV asked for an exclusive episode of SSTV to be made that would be showed on the Channel. Other programs showed the clip, such as Channel V and Video Hits.


In 2008, Short Stack had their first major win, the Channel V OZ Artist of the Year Award, up against artists like The Veronicas and Kisschasy.
